Under the slogan Redefining Tradition and Innovation, CASIO presents the AP-750 cabinet digital piano, the new top model in the Celviano series. Equipped with the newly developed Grandphonic sound system, the Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard (Celviano Edition) and state-of-the-art features such as the Visual Information Bar, CASIO's addition to the digital piano portfolio offers a huge amount of innovation in the mid-price segment.

In addition to the three world-famous grand piano sounds Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna, other piano sounds called Classical Piano Repertoire ensure great sound, the sound aesthetics of which are specially tailored to the classical repertoire of selected musical eras.

In addition to the Celviano flagship AP-750, CASIO is launching two other new Celviano models, the AP-550 and the AP-S450 (S for “slim”), which is presented in a particularly compact housing. The AP-750 is available in elegant black, the AP-550 and AP-S450 models are each available in black, brown and white.

All Celviano new products are expected to be available in specialist retailers at the beginning of March.

GRAND PIANO SOUNDS TO FALL IN LOVE WITH

The Celviano AP-750 integrates the high-quality AiR Grand Sound Source, which is also used in the flagship CELVIANO Grand Hybrid series. This includes the sounds of three world-famous concert grand pianos: Berlin Grand, Hamburg Grand and Vienna Grand. The Berlin Grand sound was developed in collaboration with C. Bechstein.

The AP-550 and AP-S450 also contain two high-quality grand piano sounds that originate from the Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source.

The AP-750 features the innovative Grandphonic Sound System, a new 4-channel system with 8 loudspeakers. By carefully reproducing the resonances of a grand piano and the sophisticated distribution of the sound elements, a natural sound impression is achieved. CASIO‘s unique acoustic body construction ensures that the sound is conducted through the entire instrument, producing the resonant tones characteristic of a grand piano. Instead of just hearing the sound from the loudspeakers, you can feel the subtle overtones and the breadth of the sound as if the grand piano were standing right in front of you. The AP-550 is equipped with a 2-channel amplifier system with 4 speakers and features a sophisticated design to ensure natural sound dispersion. Both the AP-750 and AP-550 feature a unique Casio design that allows the top lid of the piano to be opened, resulting in an impressively bright, expansive sound reminiscent of opening the large lid of a grand piano. The slim AP-S450, which is also equipped with a 2-channel amplifier system with 4 speakers, has two main speakers facing upwards for an authentically powerful sound.

SMART HYBRID HAMMER ACTION - CELVIANO EDITION

The popular and advanced Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard has been optimized for the new CELVIANO models. This wooden hybrid keyboard takes into account the key characteristics of high-quality grand piano keys and combines physical mechanisms that utilize the weight of hammers with advanced digital technology that controls the feel and sound response for each key. This innovation enables expressive performances that respond authentically to the pianist‘s emotions and can be adapted to different playing techniques, just like a grand piano. In addition, the stability of the keyboard action has been improved to accommodate the subtle nuances of advanced classical piano pieces..

AP-750 IN THE MIDST OF SOUND

• The newly developed four-channel spatial Grandphonic Sound System with 8 loudspeakers delivers an outstanding spatial sound image. In addition, the upper piano lid can be opened for sound modifications like an acoustic instrument.

• The Visual Information Bar provides information on velocity and can be used as a metronome or for further performance control.

• With the Classical Piano Repertoire timbre collection you can try out piano sounds from different eras. These sounds have been carefully developed by analyzing the characteristics of different styles of classical piano pieces and allow you to experience the versatility of these instruments.

• The Instant Replayer function allows you to make a continuous recording of your own playing. The performance can be recorded in real time for up to 270 seconds and if the recording time is exceeded, the previous recording is automatically overwritten. Perfect for analyzing practice progress.

• The Scene function allows you to access 10 preset tones and also save a further 10 custom sound settings.

• Bluetooth® connectivity: With the included Wireless MIDI & Audio Adapter WU-BT10, you can

take advantage of Bluetooth® audio connectivity and MIDI data communication between your smartphone or tablet and the instrument.
